Requests for Proposals
April 1, 2006 - March 31, 2007

The Texas Pierce's Disease (PD) Research and Education Program is soliciting proposals for the funding cycle covering April 1, 2006 - March 31, 2007 that target research addressing Pierce's disease affecting the  grape industry of Texas. This program is funded by a special grant from the USDA-APHIS to the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station. Proposals are requested from TAES/TCE/COALS faculty with appropriate research expertise, and to faculty currently receiving funding from the Program.  Allocation of funds to selected research projects is contingent upon final approval by APHIS.  Proposals are due by December 1, 2005, and all project proposals should be submitted to Dr. Kevin Heinz, Project Leader (Head, Department of Entomology, Texas A&M University, TAMU 2475, College Station, TX 77843-2475; E-mail: KMHeinz@tamu.edu; Phone: 979-845-2516).  For additional information, please review the following documents:
